Welcome to UV Events. By accessing, browsing, or booking through our website (www.uveventsdxb.com) or any affiliated platforms, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of our services, website, rentals, and event planning engagements.
1. Definitions
“UV Events” / “We” / “Us” / “Our” refers to the company registered and operating under UAE law.
“Client” / “You” refers to the individual or organization booking services or using our website.
“Services” refers to all offerings including event planning, rentals, management, and consultations provided by UV Events.
2. Booking & Payment Terms
All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing via email or official quotation.
A deposit (typically 50% of the total cost) is required to secure any service, with the remaining balance due prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed.
Delayed payments may result in cancellation or rescheduling.
Prices may be adjusted based on customization, last-minute changes, or external factors beyond our control.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the event may be eligible for a partial refund (excluding non-refundable deposits).
Cancellations within 14 days of the event date are non-refundable.
In case of cancellation due to force majeure (e.g., government restrictions, weather emergencies), UV Events will work with the client to reschedule or offer a credit note where applicable.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client must provide accurate details regarding event date, location, guest count, and service requirements.
Permits, licenses, or venue-related approvals (if not managed by UV Events) must be provided in a timely manner.
The client shall be responsible for any damages to equipment, décor, or installations caused by guests or third parties during the event.
5. Service Delivery & Limitations
UV Events strives to deliver services as agreed; however, we are not liable for delays or service disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances, third-party failures, or force majeure events.
Specific talent, entertainers, or AV equipment will be subject to availability. Equivalent alternatives may be offered when necessary.
6. Use of Equipment & Rentals
Rented items (e.g., AV systems, bubble machines, lighting, etc.) must be used as instructed.
Any damage, loss, or misuse may incur replacement or repair charges.
Equipment remains the property of UV Events and must be returned in the same condition post-event.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website including logos, images, service descriptions, and branding materials are the intellectual property of UV Events.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any material is strictly prohibited without written consent.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By submitting your information to UV Events, you agree to the collection and use of data as outlined therein.
9. Website Usage
You may not use our website for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity.
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to users misusing the site or breaching terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
UV Events shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.
Our total liability in any case shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of Dubai courts.
12. Amendments
UV Events reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.
